A poster design inspired by the infamous 3-7-77 symbol of the Montana Vigilantes. The Montana Vigilantes were a secret, extra-legal group formed in the 1860s to combat lawlessness during the gold rush era. One of their most notorious acts was the execution of outlaw Henry Plummer and his associates on January 10, 1864, using the symbol "3-7-77" as a warning. Many historians believe the numbers represented the dimensions of a grave: 3 feet long, 7 feet deep, and 7 feet wide. While controversial, the Vigilantes' actions sought to restore order and justice to the Montana Territory during a tumultuous period.
