Homage to the immortal irish man - Thomas Francis Meagher (1823–1867). Irish nationalist, soldier, and orator known for his role in the Young Ireland movement and the American Civil War. After leading the failed 1848 Irish Rebellion, he was exiled to Tasmania but later escaped to the U.S. During the Civil War, he commanded the Union Army’s Irish Brigade, earning respect for his leadership. After the war, he became acting governor of Montana Territory. His mysterious death in 1867, when he fell from a steamboat into the Missouri River, remains debated.
