The GK-Wagen (Großkampfwagen or "K-Wagen") was a massive German tank prototype developed during World War I. Conceived in 1917, it was one of the largest tanks ever built, weighing around 120 tons. Armed with four 77mm fortress guns and a crew of 27, it aimed to break through enemy lines. However, only two prototypes were completed, and the war ended before the K-Wagen saw combat. Although an ambitious project, the K-Wagen reflected the experimental nature of early tank development and the evolving strategies of armored warfare.
