A vintage style homage to Roger David Casement. Born into an Anglo-Irish family in Sandycove, Dublin in 1864, Roger Casement was an Irish nationalist and human rights activist. Known for exposing human rights abuses in the Congo and Peru, he received a knighthood for his service as a British consul. However, his support for Irish independence led to his arrest and trial for treason in 1916. Casement's legacy is complex, celebrated as a humanitarian and condemned as a traitor by some. His execution by hanging marked a pivotal moment in Irish history during the Easter Rising.
