An intriguing design inspired by the crew members and leaders of the famed Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1914-1917. Conceived by Ernest Shackleton, the expedition was an attempt to make the first land crossing of the Antarctic continent. They famously failed to accomplish this objective after getting trapped in the ice, but gained fame after an epic feat of endurance and survival.
